THE ARTIST'S BRAIN

“The Creative Now- The Artist's Brain” is our Signature 8 week Expressive Arts program designed to deepen your self awareness, help you discover fresh new ways to play and express yourself, and build confidence through developing creative practices and engaging with your creative process. You will be guided through exercises and learn new tools alongside a community of other curious minds.

Do you feel like perfectionism and self-judgements are holding you back from being creative? This program is also for you!

We will explore childlike wonder through simple drawing, painting, and lettering techniques. Creating your art and sharing your heart can elevate your self talk and help you become the most authentic you!

Priscilla Perez has been an artist her whole life. Her love for art was fueled by her desire to emulate her dad, who was a famous artist himself. Whether it be lettering, murals, window paintings, chalkboard art or canvas painting, you name it, she does it all. Priscilla also has a degree from the French Culinary Institute in NYC and utilizes that skill when she’s not busy painting and creating fine arts. She has traveled the country spreading her artwork in many different cities. She is an all-around conduit of creativity making music on her ukulele, cooking delicious meals for events and whipping up desserts on her free time. Currently, she is teaching art at the Lanaar Elementary School in South Florida. She has a passion for inspiring and empowering others into their creativity and expression of their true self.

Joshua Finch, a Florida native, is a teaching artist working with non-profits where he supports children in building their creative confidence, emotional intelligence and self expression through visual arts, play and imagination. He has been an artist since childhood and is passionate about empowering people, of all ages, to express their creativity and believe that their imagination, voice and unique expression is a powerful force. He is a Creative Success Coach and Mentor for many. 

Joshua has a degree in fine arts and is one of the Founders of an international Youth Empowerment Company, Aunua Heroes, where he has was made the Creative Director. He is a graduate of both Landmark and Gratitude Trainings where he has honed his skills and taken himself to the next level.
